Equipment and Facilities:Audio Visual Equipment

The library has 40 Windows PCs and 4 Macs. A TAFE username/password is required to access these devices.

The library has a number of laptops (Windows) available from the front desk. These can be used within the library by students. Webcams and a microphone are also available for loan.

Casio HSC approved calculators are available for to HSC students. 1 day loan.

Create digital art works with large portable WACOM drawing tablets and pens, for use within the library. Small WACOMs are available for a 1 week loan. A PC with a WACOM adjustable screen and pen available for use in the library.

The multifunction photocopiers can be used for printing, copying, and scanning documents to email or USB memory sticks. These require a TAFE username/password.

Print complex 3D objects up to 120mm in width. This requires the file to be in an .stl format. Costs may be incurred with the printing.

Scan objects and produce a 3D file (.obj) using this HP Sprout PC. Available for staff and students use.

Three portable light projectors are available for loan to staff.

The library has a portable sound system which includes a sub-woofer. This is a staff only loan item.

External USB DVD drives are available for staff and students to borrow for a short loan. When plugged into a laptop, these have the ability to play DVDs.

Created a 360 degree VR recording with these Nikon 4K cameras. VR headsets are available for viewing the recordings. 1 week loan - staff only.

Record a time lapse video with a Brinno camera.
1 week loan - staff only.

A Swivl robotic video mount will hold a recording device and track the presenters movements, following a dongle. 1 week loan - staff only.

Create instructional recordings with these glasses with a built in camera. 1 week loan - staff only.
